On Tuesday, 12 August 2009, Dave Florence powered his way to a silver medal in the Men's C1 Canoe Final in the Beijing Olympic Games.
Before the games we were asked to work with Dave’s designer Stu Morris to produce a world class C1 Canoe. Although Dave was already fully equipped for the Beijing games, the canoe that we made went to Beijing with Dave and as part of the longer term programme is currently under evaluation. The photos below show the pattern and composites work which went into the new canoe development.
