New Surfboard Concepts -

With the University of Plymouth’s BSc Surf Science Technology Course...

Over the last couple of years, Tim Searle has worked with students on The University of Plymouth’s Surf Science Technology Degree Course. As part of their Marine Sports Equipment Module, we looked at several concept studies of new methods of building surfboards - all with the aim of producing a higher performance, lighter and more responsive board. The following pictures are from that work.

Further information on this course and The Applied Marine Sports Science Course can be found by contacting either; Dr Jon Miles or Ross Pomeroy at the University of Plymouth
